Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions South Florida business owners ask most often about ReadyPoint, payment processing, and how working with Silvio actually works.
Do you serve my city?
Silvio works with businesses throughout Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. Browse the Areas We Serve section for a city near you, or call directly if you do not see your city listed; South Florida businesses outside the listed cities are still welcome to reach out.
Is there a physical office I can visit?
There is no single public office address. Silvio meets with business owners by phone or in person at your business location, whichever is more convenient for you.
What exactly is ReadyPoint?
ReadyPoint is a mobile-first POS platform with a full web version, available through Talus. It supports Tap to Pay, multiple payment methods, barcode scanning, inventory management, and reporting, and it works on compatible phones, tablets, and computers.
What is the difference between ReadyPoint and Talus?
Talus is the company that provides ReadyPoint and the support behind it, including 24/7/365 help by chat, phone, or email. ReadyPoint is the POS platform itself.
What does the ReadyPoint Beta Program currently include?
The beta program currently waives the Monthly Platform Fee, a $75/month value covering the Software Fee, Gateway Fee, PCI Program Enrollment, and Phone & Data Plan, for eligible businesses. Availability and terms are subject to eligibility, underwriting, and change, so ask Silvio for current details.
Why does ReadyPoint use individual merchant accounts?
ReadyPoint uses individual merchant accounts rather than a pooled-risk model. That is a structural difference from some processors, and Silvio can walk through what it means for account setup and review in your specific case.
What does "still in beta" mean for the product?
ReadyPoint is still receiving improvements, and occasional minor issues may occur as the platform continues to develop. Silvio can talk through what that has looked like in practice and what support is available if something comes up.
What kind of support is available if something goes wrong?
Talus provides support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by chat, phone, or email, so help is available outside standard business hours too.
Can ReadyPoint work for a business with more than one location?
Yes. ReadyPoint is built for one or multiple devices and can support businesses that operate across more than one location.
Is this website available in Spanish and Portuguese?
Yes. This site has complete English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese sections, and Silvio offers consultations in all three languages.
How do I actually get started?
Call Silvio at (561) 303-6076, or submit a consultation request through the contact page, and he will follow up to talk through your business.
Will I get a specific processing rate before talking to Silvio?
No. Processing rates depend on eligibility and underwriting, so specific rates are not published on this site. Silvio can walk through pricing directly once he understands your business.
